HOT NEWS! Small Wind Systems Tax Credit

The Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008, H.R. 1424 was passed which included a new federal-level investment tax credit (ITC) for qualified small wind turbines. The ITC is now worth up to 30% of the full cost of the system, thanks to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

Several states have additional incentives available. The Database of State Incentives for Renewables & Efficiency lists incentives available by state.
